Garden State Daylily Growers 2003

Formed:	The club was formed by New Jersey gardeners who grow and want to promote public interest in daylilies.
Purpose:	The club is an affiliate of Region 3 of the American Hemerocallis Society and holds meetings in the fall, winter and spring of each year. These meetings have a program relating to new daylilies, growing methods and/or companion plants. During July and August, we hold garden tours mostly in the central New Jersey area. Our member newsletter and this web site will keep you informed.
Goal:	Our goal is to expand the gardener’s knowledge of the genus Hemerocallis and promote the landscape use of daylilies. In doing so, we participate in plant sales, garden fair days, planting of public gardens, and distribution of Daylily books to public libraries. We raise funds through plant sales and auctions.
